PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA TO HOLD A WORKING VISIT IN JAPAN

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia will hold a Working Visit in Japan during March 13-15, 2019.

Head of Government of Georgia will officially launch an Exhibition dedicated to the culture and history of winemaking in the country, titled as Georgia - Homeland of Wine to be held at Terrada Warehouse Exhibition Centre.

Exposition collating unique archeological artefacts and modern technologies aims to showcase the unique nature of Georgian wine culture.

Exhibition is held with an initiative of the Government of Georgia by the National Wine Agency and Georgian Wine Association with support of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, Intellectual Property Authority of Georgia SAKPATENTI and National Museum of Georgia, in partnership with the largest worldwide company Sony Music Communication and TOPPAN. Visitors will enjoy the exhibition through May 7, 2019.

In addition, Georgian-Japanese Business Forum will be held in Tokyo on March 15, 2019 to be officially launched by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia and Yasushi Akahoshi, President of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

Head of Government of Georgia will hold high-level meetings within the scope of the visit, including with Tarō Asō, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Japan; Tarō Kōno, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Negotiations are scheduled with Presidents of JETRO and Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Government Delegation, led by the Prime Minister of Georgia, includes Giorgi Kobulia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
