Prime Minister of Georgia will deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly’s 71st Session Print Version

On September 21, Prime Minister of Georgia will deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly's 71st Session. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit the US on September 19-22.

Within the frames of the visit the Prime Minister will be delivering speeches at a high-level meeting on addressing large movements of refugees and migrants as well as at the advanced conference organized by Georgia, Estonia and UNDP on the topic of effective institutions. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will also speak on the topic of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) at the high-level meeting organized by the South Africa and France and the meeting on the topic Innovative Financing for 2030 SDGs.
During his visit to the US Giorgi Kvirikashvili will also held bilateral meetings as well.

Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili will meet the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-moon, Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Charles Michel, President of the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, the first Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. He will also hold a meeting with President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska and Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip.

Prime Minister will also attend several official receptions held in honor of the heads of delegation on behalf of the US President and his wife, UN Secretary General and his wife as well as on behalf of President Clinton and Atlantic Council.
