Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited the April 9 Memorial today. The Head of Government laid a wreath at the memorial and honored the memory of those fallen for Georgia's unity.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Tbilisi Mayor and representatives of executive and legislative authorities.
Patriarchal Locum Tenens/Metropolitan Shio of Senaki and Chkhorotsku served a memorial service for the repose of those fallen on April 9.

Thirty-five years have passed since the April 9 tragedy.
