Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Ishizuka Hideki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia.

At the meeting, attention was paid to the productive cooperation between the two countries in a variety of areas. The parties discussed prospects of deeper trade and economic ties.

Irakli Kobakhidze reassured the diplomat of Georgia's commitment to further developing partnership in terms of investments, export growth, and the implementation of joint programs in support of small and medium-sized businesses.

During the conversation, Japan's strong support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity was also underlined.
