Prime Minister of Georgia Meets Ambassador of Bulgaria to Georgia Print Version

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met H.E. Dessislava Ivanova, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Georgia, who is completing her diplomatic mission in the country.

Meeting was focused on the productive cooperation between the two countries in a number of directions. Particular reference was made to the significance of deploying a full potential of the Black Sea, especially in the post-pandemic period and the need of regional cooperation within the process.

Support provided by Bulgaria to Georgia during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the effective fight of Georgia against the virus, was highlighted at the meeting,

Diplomat reassured the Prime Minister of Georgia in the support of Bulgaria towards the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as on its path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Head of Government of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the ambassador for facilitating the advanced partnership between Georgia and Bulgaria and wished every success in future endeavors.
