In light of changes in our projections for this year, we expect this year's economic growth to reach 7.7%, and nominal GDP to be 57.2 billion GEL, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated during today's Cabinet meeting.

The nominal GDP this year will make up 57.02 billion GEL, the Head of Government said.

"When we started reopening the economy and lifting regulations four months ago, positive expectations arose among businesses and in the country in general. We had an unprecedented economic growth of about 45%. In May, it reached 25%, thus amending our projections. Consequently, we expect this year's economic growth to reach 7.7%, and the nominal GDP to be 57.2 billion GEL," Irakli Garibashvili stated.

The Prime Minister thanked Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili for his productive work.
