Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania to Irakli Garibashvili: Adopted back in 1918, the Act of Independence of Georgia outlines the principles of democracy, human rights and freedom - the same principles upon which the people of Georgia aim to strengthen their country's independence today. I am convinced that Georgia will enhance these values.

Ingrida Simonyte, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania congratulates Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia on the Independence Day celebrated on May 26. Congratulatory letter focused on the continued solid support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia by the Republic of Lithuania, along with its European and Euro-Atlantic path.

"Dear Prime Minister, on behalf of the Government of Lithuania, allow me to extend my warmest greetings to you and the people of Georgia on the 103rd anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Georgia along with my best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of your country.

Adopted back in 1918, the Act of Independence of Georgia outlined the principles of democracy, human rights and freedom - the same principles upon which the people of Georgia aim to strengthen their country's independence today. I am convinced that Georgia will enhance these values as it moves forward on the path of reforms and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Lithuania will continue to stand firm in supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic path, and make every endeavor to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation and the relations between our people.
