Irakli Garibashvili: Preferential Agricultural Credit program has enabled many enterprises to grow and develop Print Version

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, together with Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Levan Davitashvili, visited the Vakijvari trout farm, an enterprising enjoying a preferential agricultural credit.

According to Irakli Garibashvili, in recent years, the Preferential Agricultural Credit program has given the Vakijvari trout farm, and many other enterprises, an exceptional opportunity to grow and develop.

Under the Preferential Agricultural Credit program, the Vakijvari trout farm has been financed with 1,400,000 GEL. Consequently, it is one of the largest suppliers holding 10% of the market. The farm employs 50 people.

For his visit to the trout farm, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Head of the Department for Relations with the Regions at the Government Administration Leri Barnabishvili, State Representative in Guria Giorgi Sakhokia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government Sozar Subari, and Majoritarian MP from Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri Vasil Chigogidze.
