"This day, February 25 is one of the most tragic dates in the history of our country". It was stated by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia when laying a wreath of garland at the Cadet Memorial in Kojori today.

The Head of Government of Georgia paid tribute to the memory of fallen patriots together with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Minister of Defense of Georgia and Mayor of Tbilisi.

"This day once again reminds us how great the merit and worth of our heroes is towards our homeland. Our heroes, including the cadets, sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of our homeland. That is why, this day once again reminds us that irrespective of a temporary occupation of our country, our road ahead leads to the empowerment, democracy, economic growth and prosperity of our country. This is the road, which will ultimately bring us to the unification of our country. I wish to note herewith that our common aim and goal should of course be the unification of our country, unification of our people and our nation. That is why, I once again bow before our fallen heroes and I wish to pay a great tribute to their memory" noted Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.
