Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and Internal Affairs Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri opened the new building of the Tsalenjikha Police Department.
The head of the government and the internal affairs minister inspected the new building, which was built and equipped in accordance with modern standards.
The building is designed for 65 employees and, in addition to workspaces for investigators and detectives, it also includes interrogation/identification and evidence rooms, as well as an armory. The building is adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.
In recent years, about 70 new buildings have been built for police departments across the country within the framework of the renewal of the police infrastructure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to improve the working environment of police officers and provide effective police services to citizens.
