Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia held a meeting with Minister of Defense of Hungary Tibor Benkő.
The parties viewed the issues taking place in various fields between Georgia and Hungary and discussed prospects for future cooperation. Particular attention was paid to Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the progress achieved on this path.
Tibor Benkő reaffirmed Hungary's strong support for Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The discussion touched on the importance of deepening defense and security, as well as trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The meeting, which was held at the Administration of the Government, was attended by Defense Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.
