Today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia held a valedictory meeting with Cristian Urse, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
The parties discussed the close, productive cooperation between Georgia and the Council of Europe, as well as prospects for the future.
Special emphasis was placed on the important role of the Council of Europe in terms of implementing successful democratic reforms in Georgia.
The parties underlined Georgia's successful democratic development and equally successful chairmanship of the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the meeting's conclusion, the Head of Government thanked Cristian Urse for his productive work in Georgia and wished him success in his future endeavors.
