The virus is not gone; it has not been defeated. No country can defeat the virus on its own. Though it is a global crisis, we must learn how to manage the virus, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated in his reply to journalists' question.

The responsibility in the fight against the virus is shared by all citizens, the Head of Government emphasized.

"We always said that the resumption of economic activities would increase mobility in the country, potentially triggering an increase in the number of those infected. At the same time, we said that we should learn how to identify infection cases fast, how to provide fast and effective treatment, and then to enable people to return to normal economic life. That is what we call adaptation. The virus is not gone; it has not been defeated. No country can defeat the virus on its own. And though it is a global crisis, we must learn how to manage the virus. We must learn how to provide medical treatment for our citizens, how to trace sources, and we must do so just as successfully as we have done so far. However, we should also remember that the responsibility is shared by all citizens," Giorgi Gakharia said.
