In the opinion of Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia, occurrence captured in the footage is simply atrocious and it has no excuse.

"Be him not even Izoria's brother, but mine, I would have had worse or even the most severe opinion on the occurrence. People who wear the police uniform are protecting the law and order in our country at the expense of their health and life. They protect the security of our families and citizens. I want to stress that it was extremely unacceptable and what I saw in the footage was simply atrocious" added the Prime Minister of Gorgia.

On the question posed by journalists in relation with letters sent by US Senators, Head of Government of Georgia noted that authorities of the country never feared tough questions and always stood ready to respond.

"I said it yesterday that we are apparently entering an active political season and there will be many more letters and plenty of positions voiced. This was confirmed today indeed. I repeat myself once again that we never feared tough questions and always stood ready to respond. I will not start sorting them by various types and focus points. Let me once again state that as you are well aware a new US Ambassador arrived in Georgia yesterday. Delegation from the Parliament of Georgia will be visiting D.C. in the nearest future. Let me assure you that we will be extremely active, most effective and objective at the same time in relation with the fuss you will now make out of it. Of course these are most important issues for the country and USA is our strategic partner as you may well be aware" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
