"Today is the time of concrete steps, rather than tragic developments be politicized" stated Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia at a regular Executive Government Meeting today.

According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, authorities are doing their best for the improvement of the education sector and implementation of systemic reforms; as for the youth care, it should be further more effective, productive and preventing similar tragic developments.

"I wish to once again express my deep condolences towards a tragic loss of a 15 year old boy. I am confident that Office of the State Inspector will investigate the case in a comprehensive, transparent and open manner, leaving no question marks in the society. Respective instructions have been issued to all the institutions and they will fully cooperate with the Office of the State Inspector in the process of the investigation. Nevertheless, we should also make certain conclusions; we should act in a more efficient and systemic manner towards juvenile justice and respective institutions need to be given concrete instructions here" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As noted by the Head of Government of Georgia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia should take care of ensuring an environment tailored to children, in terms of creating space for interviewing the youth at their premises, which is believed to be very important.

"Ministry of Education of Georgia together with all other institutions should take care of improving professional qualifications on a permanent and lifelong basis for all the civil servants or individuals that interact with children and youth.

Also, we should stress that Ministry of Education has one of the most significant functions towards identifying the problems in a practical and preventive manner, which may occur in a daily school life among children and youth.

Ministry of Justice of Georgia should take care of the legal framework protecting children when they interact with the law-enforcement system. It is very important and of course Ministry of Health of Georgia should take care of the problems that may affect the psychology of children and youth" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

In the opinion of the Head of Government of Georgia, a lot has been done towards juvenile justice in the country, especially by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Nevertheless, further steps need to be taken by authorities in a more efficient manner.

"These are the directions of our systemic focus and effort in future and they are directions that need to lead to immediate results. Of course, we should also note that a lot has been done towards juvenile justice by the authorities, especially by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Nevertheless, further steps need to be taken by authorities in a more efficient manner.

Dedicated meeting will be held at the Government Administration of Georgia today on the flagged problems with an engagement of subject-matter professionals, NGOs and officials from all government agencies. It will be a step made towards coordinated actions to define concrete measures for future. I believe that today is the time of concrete steps, rather than tragic developments be politicized. Our focus today will make our improvements in the education sector and systemic reforms - everything we do to take a good care of children and youth - more effective, productive and preventive of such tragic developments " concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
