2019-11-07

The Ministry of Justice has worked on sporadic and systematic land registration, an issue to be presented by Thea Tsulukiani and discussed by us today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated during today's Cabinet meeting.

According to the Head of Government, land registration has been singled out as the key issue during the visits of Cabinet members and MPs to the regions, especially villages.

"This initiative seeks to foster the final regulation of this problem within the next three years. And that, on one hand, is of vital importance to all our citizens, especially those living in villages, and also to village landowners. On the other hand, it is of critical importance for our economy as one of our key economic resources. Today, we can state with all assuredness that, with the further development of sporadic and systematic land registration in place, we will solve this issue once and for all within the next three years," Giorgi Gakharia said.
