The representatives of the local authorities informed the Head of Government about the region's challenges that cannot be solved through efforts of local authorities alone. According to the Prime Minister, enhancing the effectiveness of the authorities' performance is one of the key goals.
"We must speak out on the problems we are facing, and we plan to do to solve them, but we must also understand that we will be held responsible for our every word we give. There is no other way around it. If we assume responsibility, we must keep in mind that time to be held responsible will surely come. This is how I work. Each of us will be assessed by the satisfaction of the citizens you serve. The state has enough means and resources to ensure the effectiveness of everything we do, and you, as elected or appointed officials, must be the instruments to that end. As long as we are here, our main duty and function is to serve the people, not ourselves," the Prime Minister said.
