Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia met healthcare professionals in Gori today. Head of Government of Georgia expressed interest in the problems experiences by the healthcare service providers.
Prime Minister of Georgia underlined the role of healthcare professionals, teachers and policemen in the social life of citizens in the country.
"It is of critical importance for us to advance and develop the routine life and work conditions for large groups of the society: teachers, healthcare professionals and law-enforcement officers. It has a simple explanation. These are the people, who take a good care of our children and praiseworthy elderly on behalf of the state. These are the most important positive obligations of the state" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.
According to the Head of Government of Georgia, state has rather serious obligations and steps have been made forward towards social security of teachers and healthcare professionals.
"There were minor delays, though you know it better than me that huge resources have been mobilized by the state towards the healthcare sector. We are here today primarily to talk about the professional concerns - of course openly, bluntly and critically. These meetings and discussions will be held with teachers, healthcare professionals, law-enforcement officers and then we will address our bureaucracy" concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
