Today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia hosted the heads of various leading US investment and Venture funds probing into possible investments in Georgia.
The discussion revolved around the country's investment-friendly environment and leading positions in ease of doing business rankings, and prospective investment projects.
The group of the senior managers of top US investment fundsis led by Yitz Applbaum, Co-Founder and Partner of MizMaa Ventures. During the meeting with the Prime Minister, Applbaum pointed out that Georgia has real prospects of achieving tangible results in the areas of innovations and technologies
in the nearest future.
Special emphasis was placed on potential for transforming Georgia into a transit and logistics hub, and on numerous regional projects implemented to that end.
The meeting also discussed prospects of implementing new digital technology and educational projects designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills among youth.
"We represent many billions of investable capital and successful entrepreneurs. And we want to bring that energy to Georgia. We very much believe that we can work with your Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, and different organizations to help make that successful," MizMaa Ventures Co-Founder Yitz.
