Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia arrived in Belarus with an Official Visit today. Head of Government of Georgia was greeted by Vladimir Dvornik, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus at the International Airport of Minsk.

Prime Minister of Georgia, being escorted by Government Members, paid a tribute to the memory of WWII victims and laid a wreath of garland at the Memorial of Heroes fighting against fascism in 1941-1945.

Meetings of the Head of Government of Georgia with Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus is scheduled within the scope of the visit.

Head of Government of Georgia will meet his Byelorussian colleague Syarhey Rumas. Face to face meeting will be followed with an extended one today.

Prime Minister of Georgia will meet Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus within the scope of the Official Visit.

Headed by the Prime Minister, Official Delegation of Georgia includes David Zalkaliani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia; Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi and MP Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Fiscal Committee at the Parliament of Georgia.
