PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA URGES DALLAS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEMBERS TO BENEFIT FROM INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED BY GEORGIA Print Version

Georgia has plenty of investment opportunities and serves as a gateway to the fastest growing consumer markets of the world. It was announced by Mamuna Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a meeting with Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Industry today.

Head of Government of Georgia spoke with business executives on the leading positions of the country in doing business and low rate of taxes, inter alia manifesting in the favorable conditions for investors.

Discussions at the meeting were related to the potential of the country in terms of innovations, technologies and renewable sources of energy.

Prime Minister of Georgia noted that country has a potential to shape into an economic, transport and logistic hub of the region, acknowledged as such by the USA. Focus was made by the visiting dignitary on the steps made towards further deepening of the trade and economic relations between the USA and Georgia, thereby noting that this is the ultimate goal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concluded with US Department of Commerce on June 13, 2019. It also envisages efforts to be made towards opening a representation office of the US Department of Commerce in Tbilisi, Georgia.

According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, increasing number of American companies operating in Georgia is truly gratifying.

Head of Government of Georgia also shared information on investment projects with members of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thereby calling for an eager use of investment opportunities readily offered by Georgia.
