Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia attended a festival dedicated to the International Children's Day at the Rugby Base Station on Nutsubidze Street in Tbilisi showcasing 200 young athletes of 15 teams aged below 10.

Head of Government of Georgia congratulated them with the International Children's Day and wished great success in their future sports endeavours, thereby granting rugby balls to them as a gift in memory of the occasion.

"You all know that we launched this rugby base station only a few months ago with support of Cartu Foundation. I am so happy that rugby is becoming more popular in Georgia and greater number of children will play and stay physically active. I wish to urge parents to take initiative and enroll their children in various sports groups and activities" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of Government of Georgia also met members of the National Rugby Team at the base station on Nutsubidze Street in Tbilisi and wished them great success at the World Championship in 2019.
