"Resort has a unique potential. Our mountains, our nature is the greatest wealth we have and need to take care of it. Hence, we are trying our best to make steps to ensure the sustainable development of any resort. You may recall that errors were made during the construction of other resorts in this realm and we should not repeat the past practice. As we now have a Master Plan of Development, serving as a precondition for such development of Goderdzi Ski Resort that it will by all means comply with international standards. I am delighted that construction of hotels is progressing at high speed. We also plan to commission a new cable-car road. We need more cable-cars and key infrastructure at Goderdzi Ski Resort. We need to build an access road as well. It is vital. It is a project of national significance and it goes beyond a regional scope. Road infrastructure will ignite a completely different life and energy in the region" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.
