Tbilisi Municipality will get an increased funding. It was noted by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a regular press briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today. Increased funding towards the capital city is inter alia related to the substitution of the so called yellow busses.
"As promised to the general public, we will be substituting the outdated municipal transport - so called yellow busses - till the end of the year with new and modern busses. In addition, we will start importing electric busses from the following year. Municipality of Tbilisi has carried out a very impressive work in the area concerned and I wish to thank them all. Thus, decision has been made to increase financial resources to support their endeavors" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.
