GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES 2 MLN GEL FOR INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANELS IN UNLIT COMMUNITIES Print Version

Government has allocated 2 MLN GEL for the installation of solar panels in communities that have no power energy supply. As announced by Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia at a regular press briefing held prior to the Executive Government Meeting today, relevant project has been designed.

According to the Head of Government of Georgia, project will cover the communities that have a unique tourism potential, but their development is jeopardized due to no access to power energy supply.

Prime Minister of Georgia expressed sincere gratitude to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the significant support rendered in the implementation of the program.
