Prime Minister Visits Construction Site of UEFA-Standard Stadium in Kaspi Print Version

In late September, a UEFA category two stadium will be commissioned in Kaspi. Today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, accompanied by the President of the Football Federation, visited the stadium's construction site.

According to the Head of Government, promoting the development of sport, and encouraging youth in this direction, is a very important priority. Accordingly, such projects will be implemented throughout the country. The UEFA category two stadium in Kaspi with artificial turf will have 520 seats. In addition, the central football stadium, the football school, and the training ground will be reconstructed. The project volume is 2.5 million GEL.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Region's Governor, Majoritarian MP, and the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

The Head of Government also visited the Kaspi sports school where he familiarized himself with the judo arena and basketball court, and had a conversation with athletes.
