Advancement of economic cooperation and trade facilitation between Georgia and Japan were discussed by and between Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia and Yasushi Akahoshi, President of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) at a meeting held in Tokyo today.

Favorable investment environment of Georgia has been underlined in particular, along with the achievements of the country towards reforms implemented for the development of business in Georgia.

Significance of Georgia-Japan Business Forum has been underlined to stimulate business contacts and new opportunities of cooperation between the two countries.

Head of Government of Georgia expressed optimism towards advancing the bilateral relations with Japan to a completely new level as a result of the visit.
