Signify/Philips stands ready to assist the Government of Georgia in the implementation of Energy Efficiency Strategy.

As Eric Rondolat, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Signify/Philips noted during his meeting with Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia, reference is made on energy efficient lighting of streets and monuments, which will be introduced primarily in Tbilisi and later replicated to the rest of the country.

Discussion at the meeting was related to the concept of Green Economy designed by the Government of Georgia, which involves the development of organic production as well as the use of Philips technologies in the process of production.

Meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia and CEO of Signify/Philips was held within the scope of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos today. It was attended by George Kobulia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and George Bachiashvili, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF).
