Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Abdulla Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan within the scope of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos today.

Meeting was focused on the processes developing in the region and positive role played by Georgia.

Chief Executive of Afghanistan expressed his gratitude to Georgia for the engagement in the Resolute Support Mission (RSM) and praised the professionalism of Georgian military personnel.

Parties discussed the development of transport corridors and stressed the role and significance of the successful project branded as Lapis Lazuli.

Meeting was attended by David Zalkaliani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
