2019-01-18

As Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated at the briefing before today's Government meeting, the procedures of identifying Georgian citizenship are about to be simplified significantly for the persons in the occupied territories.

Several institutions have been long working on the relevant decree which was adopted by the Government at its meeting today.

"Citizens taking advantage of this opportunity will see for themselves that the process is far more simplified and accessible now. At the same time, it will enable our every citizen equally to enjoy our greatest achievement of visa-free travel to Europe," the Prime Minister stated.
The Head of Government thanked everyone engaged in the development of the new procedures for hard work.
