Unique Tax Cuts to Apply to Large Transnational Companies Opening Regional Offices in Georgia Print Version

2018-12-10

As Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated during today's Government meeting, unique tax cuts will apply to international companies and large transnational organizations opening regional branches in Georgia.

According to the Head of Government, this decision is in full concordance with the Government's policy of turning Georgia into the wider region's hub.

"International companies and large transnational organizations, including branches of the world's 500 largest companies, will enjoy unique tax cuts if they open regional offices in Georgia to serve the region from Georgia. It is one of the first most principled steps we are taking to turn Georgia into the regional hub," the Prime Minister said.
