You may well be aware that Novermber 28, 2018 has been declared as a public holiday, as it is a day of elections. I call on every citizen of our country to stay active, serve one's civil duty towards the country and go to vote for the desired candidate of one's choosing. Also, I call on every employer to facilitate the participation of our fellow citizens in the elections and keep away from restricting the right granted by the law.

Our team in the governance of the country has done its best to make these elections free, transparent and democratic.

Any offence will result in the actions performed by the authorities in full compliance of the law.

I instruct the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, each and every policeman - who demonstrated the highest standard of performance in the first round of elections -to further ensure the rule and order throughout the country and maximum compliance with the law at ballot points, leaving no case without due response and if required - to timely prevent any offence from occuring.

I wish to assure the domestic and international observation missions and organizations, all media outlets in all the conditions created by us for accurate monitoring and uninterrupted coverage of the flow of elections.

You may well be aware that I personally urged many international organizations in the first round to increase their number of observers and I wish to use this opportunity and thank them again for such keen engagement in the process.

I am confident that November 28, 2018 will exemplify one more victory of democracy in Georgia, which thereby equals to yet another sovereign victory of the country."
