Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia visited the construction site of Batumi International Football Stadium today.

Concrete is being laid at present. Installation of metal constructions and roofing of the stadium is well underway. In parallel, interior design works are carried out to set the segregations, stalls, telecommunication channels, walls and façade at the stadium.

CMC is supervising the construction of the football stadium upon its successful bidding in the electronic tender.

Stadium will be built to comply with Category IV of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) standards and it will seat 20 000 people. Over 400 jobs have been created in the construction phase. Stadium will have several entry and exit points for different purpose and use: media, busses, sportsmen and VIP visitors. Parking lot at the stadium is designed for 1200 vehicles. Construction works will be completed by September 2020.
