As Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated in his speech at today's opening of the Community Center in Tznori, our regions must become sustainable and developed, and they must have functioning basic infrastructure and, of course, access to all public services.

According to the Head of Government, the Government's declared priority seeks to provide every Georgian region with equal development opportunities and therefore to ensure equal living conditions for all citizens.

"I have stated repeatedly that the populations of the regions must have equal access to such services as education, healthcare, and social infrastructure. We are consistently progressing in this direction, as clearly evidenced by today's event-today, we are opening the Tznori Community Center, a great present to the population of Tznori. This Community Center will provide the same level of services as in the rest of the country. At the same, on popular demand, many functions in the center are designed to meet your personal requirements," Mamuka Bakhtadze stated.

As the Prime Minister emphasized, from now on Tznori's population will be able to enjoy more than 200 public and private sector services without leaving their town, including IDs, access to the national archive, and services provided by the National Agency of Public Registry and the Social Service Agency.

"It is equally gratifying that the center will feature the private sector, among others. It is very important-and it makes me especially happy personally-relevant infrastructure has been created in the center for youth and adolescents who will have access to the library, including e-books, computers, and many other important services of their liking. It is also commendable that a conference hall will operate here to allow for many important meetings here in Tznori," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

Today, 57 community centers of modern standards operate throughout the country to enable the population to enjoy, without leaving their villages, more than 200 public or private sector services, 24-hour wireless internet connection, and Skype rooms. Libraries for youth are equipped with the latest technology to offer both electronic and print publications.

To motivate the civic engagement of the rural population, the community center offers a 30-seat meeting room equipped with modern technology to host different informative and educational events, presentations and remote educational sessions, also film screenings.
