Today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral and wished Georgia's population a Happy Feast Day of Saint George.
The Head of Government attended Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All-Georgia Ilia II.
The Prime Minister spoke about Saint George's merit and wished the Georgian nation progress and unification.


"I would like to wish all of Georgia a Happy and Glorious Feast Day of Saint George. The Great Martyr George holds a special place and plays a distinguished role in the history of our country and Georgia's Orthodox Christianity. His merit perfectly exemplifies our millennia-old history full of trials and tribulations and yet one vividly portraying the spiritual strength of the Georgian nation. Once again, I would like to wish our citizens, especially our emigrants, a Happy Feast Day of Saint George, and wish our nation unification, oneness of mind, and progress for the benefit of our country," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
Together with the Prime Minister, the Divine Liturgy celebrating the Feast Day of Saint George in the Holy Trinity Cathedral was attended by the members of the Georgian Cabinet.
