Georgian Prime Minister to Hold Official Visit to Moldova Print Version

On October 6, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will hold an official visit to Moldova. The upcoming visit and bilateral cooperation were discussed by the Head of Georgian Government and Moldova's Prime Minister Pavel Filip during today's meeting under the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly.

The developmental dynamic of bilateral relations was commended.

As it was emphasized during the meeting, the Prime Minister of Georgia, as part of his official visit to Moldova, will participate in the GUAM Summit, an important platform for strengthening cooperation between member states and with the organization's partners. The parties emphasized the necessity to double efforts further to activate this format.

The Prime Ministers underlined that both Georgia and Moldova are EU associated partners, which is why coordinated action in the international arena becomes even more important.

The meeting's parties reaffirmed their mutual support of territorial integrity and sovereignty.
