Prime Minister of Georgia and UAE Foreign Minister Consider Enhancing Bilateral Economic Cooperation Print Version

Further enhancing economic relations and deepening cooperation in multilateral formats were discussed during today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was held under the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly.

Special emphasis was placed on successful bilateral cooperation and Georgia's reforms.

The meeting pointed out Georgia's favorable investment environment. The Prime Minister underlined Georgia's leading positions in international rankings, stating that the Government welcomes the growing interest on the part of the United Arab Emirates.

After the meeting, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Foreign Ministries of Georgia and the United Arab Emirates. The document was signed by Davit Zalkaliani and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
