"I have also lived abroad and when one is far away from home s/he gets especially emotional towards success and troubles of the homeland. I believe that this emotion is common for every Georgian" noted Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia when addressing the representatives of the Georgian diaspora organizations gathered at the Embassy of Georgia in Washington D.C today.

Head of the Government of Georgia stressed the key importance of relations with diasporas and noted that every single Georgian is an asset for the country.

"You are making a patriotic effort and I wish to express my respect towards you. Care that our diaspora demonstrates towards the Georgian language is indeed a huge effort, which will be prioritized in in 2019. Promotion and maintenance of the Georgian language among our diasporas is a key component of the education system reform. Very significant resources have been earmarked in the Draft State Budget of Georgia for the next year. I wish to use this opportunity and thank you enormously for all your contributions" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of the Government particularly focused on the deeds of the military and stated that their outstanding role is acknowledged by everyone at meetings held in Washington D.C.

"It is yet another example of the much appreciated work, performed at the highest level. I wish to thank you all. I wish to welcome our students and let them know - each of you has made a contribution to our economy, which I call a common human capital. It is indeed the most important. I have been there myself and this feeling is very familiar to me. This very emotion. I place it as a prime task for myself to create such an environment in the country that will enable every single young person to materialize his or her full potential. Georgia will be successful, if we manage to achieve this" concluded the Prime Minister of the Georgia.

Head of the Government of Georgia thanked the representatives of diaspora organizations for constantly standing by the side of their homeland and for doing their best to represent Georgia in the United States at a very high level.
