It is vitally important to us to make sure that the educational sector is in the double digits in GDP, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated while announcing the presentation of the educational reform at the briefing before today's Government meeting.

According to the Head of Government, the initial phase of educational reform will be announced in a matter of days.

"We defined five levels to reform the educational sectors. These are early and preschool education, general education, vocational education, higher education, and science. The growth of human capital is our Government's absolute priority, and it is the only way for us to advance Georgia to the category of developed countries. This will be one of my Government's most important reforms," the Prime Minister stated.

The Head of Government urged the public to take active part in this reform, because it will guarantee Georgia's success.
