69 schools in 50 regions of Georgia will be provided with wireless internet connection. This initiative was raised by the Cabinet during its meeting today.
According to Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, it is especially exciting that the project will cover all of Georgia, because installing internet connection and digitalization make an integral part of the Government's program and educational reform.
"Access to wireless internet in the process of learning is very important to both students and teachers. I would like to reiterate that digitalization and internet connection provision will be one of the most important components of our educational reform, and this component must be finalized as fast as possible," the Prime Minister said.
