Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia nominated late Ivane Golashvili for post-mortem King Vakhtang Gorgasali Order of First Class after being killed in the capacity of a special task force officer at an extraordinary operation conducted on Monk Gabriel street in Tbilisi. Nomination has been made to the President of Georgia.

Head of the Government of Georgia met with the family of the late special task force officer at the Government Administration today together with the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia.

"Heroism of Vano Golashvili is truly exemplary. Sacrifice and heroism of such people shape up Georgia. I am convinced that his children - Mariam and Giorgi will grow to share the pride of the entire nation in their father" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of the State Security Service awarded a prize to late Ivane Golashvili, special task force officer for his outstanding courage demonstrated while on duty. Medal for Bravery was handed to the spouse of the killed special task force officer today by Vakhtang Gomelauri, Head of the State Security Service of Georgia.

Prime Minister congatulated the State Security Service of Georgia with 3rd Anniversary from the date of its establishment.
