"Many researchers ask how come such a small nation managed to maintain its culture and identity over centuries and has managed to cope with acute challenges in a dignified manner. You are the answer to this question! You, the hero soldiers, are what we call an unbeaten Georgian soul!" said Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia when addressing the military men at the presentation of Foundation of Wounded Fighters.

Head of the Government started his speech by talking about the tragedy occurred this morning in Tkibuli. He expressed condolences to the families of the victim at this very painful moment of grief.

Prime Minister of Georgia focused on the aims and goals of the Foundation of Wounded Fighters and significance of active engagement of the private sector in the process of care for the soldiers wounded in the fights for the unity of the homeland.

"These people are our pride and joy! They are our heroes! Their dedication is exemplary and it is the duty of every citizen of the country to express special support to them. So far Ministry of Defense of Georgia had a foundation under its subordination, which worked for the care of the soldiers. US charity organizations - Give an Hour, AFF and many others - were actively cooperating with it. Several significant projects have been implemented great merits to them. Though, you may well agree that presence of charity foundations subordinated under the public institutions is not a best practice. We are thus introducing a modern standard from now on and it is very important that a private company will bear responsibility over the issue" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Head of the Government of Georgia thanked Silknet JSC for this very important initiative and stressed the significance of establishing a culture of philanthropy in the country.

"A lot of entrepreneurs and businesses are active in this regard, however it is far from being enough. We have very important traditions and culture. I want to urge every entrepreneur to join this very important initiative. It will be a clear example of the society and civil movements in development. Many researchers ask how come such a small nation has survived and managed to maintain its culture and identity over centuries and has managed to cope with acute challenges in a dignified manner. You are the answer to this question! You, the hero soldiers, are what we call an unbeaten Georgian soul! God bless Georgia and every Georgian soldier!" concluded Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia.
