Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met with Armen Sarkissian, President of the Republic of Armenia.
Head of the Government of Georgia congratulated Armen Sarkissian with his appointment and expressed gratitude for visiting Georgia. Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted that brother nation of Armenia celebrates 100th Anniversary of Independence similar to Georgia and this milestone is of predominant importance for both countries.
Prime Minister stressed the multi-century, close and friendly relations with Armenia and expressed optimism towards cooperation gaining greater momentum in various areas in future.
"To me it is a great honor to be here today and celebrate 100th Anniversary of great victory with my brothers" noted President of the Republic of Armenia and thereby thanked Giorgi Kvirikashvili for a warm welcome.
Armen Sarkissian confirmed readiness to further deepen the current relations.
It was mentioned at the meeting that stability in both countries will lead to a well-being in the region. Giorgi Kvirikashvili wished success to the new Government of the Republic of Armenia.
