Official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia has commenced with a meeting at the State Department in Washington D.C.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili is now meeting Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State. Key topics of discussion are the items included in the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Agenda and positive trend in the development of bilateral relations. Parties will also discuss the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia and challenges related to the territorial integrity of the country.
At the outset, Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Pompeo with his appointment to the position and wished him a great success in his endeavors.
After the meeting, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Mike Pompeo will jointly launch the Plenary Session of the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Commission, to be followed with statements for the media.
