I personally expected the President's last speech in this capacity to be more in-depth and analytical, better focused, with more problem analysis and ways to solve problems. He spoke about the country's social situation and problems, which we do not deny. On the contrary, every branch of government is working toward advancing the country in this regard. He spoke about disrespect toward institutions and their decline, while himself questioning, among others, data from the National Statistics Office, and so on.
I believe that the President should have portrayed a broader picture of the problematic issues in the country, and he should have underscored the unifying function of presidency as an institution. To be honest, I had greater expectations for this speech.
