I am truly glad that the Interior Ministry's reforms have proved a success. Today, we are opening a new Patrol Police Service Center of the Interior Ministry. This center will offer our citizens all police services without exception. About 500 citizens will be able to enjoy services here every day. This center, which is equipped with the latest technology, is ready to provide complex services. As for the police, namely the patrol police, it is very exciting that, from now on, the Tbilisi patrol will be equipped with body cameras with far greater technical properties, enabling them to record for 12 hours straight. In addition, data from the cameras will be uploaded on the main server simultaneously. This will ensure against any doubts whatsoever, which used to be, as you know, subject to certain speculations in the past. I would like to congratulate every police officer with this day. Serving our citizens and ensuring their safety is the ultimate priority and standard upheld at this service centers, including body cameras meeting the highest standards in the world. I am convinced that this center will be one of the best, if not the best, in the region.

Providing police officers with remuneration and living conditions is becoming the state's priority. I would like to commend the Vice Prime Minister and Minister for his exemplary protection of the interests of police officers. I spoke with him a few days ago. We also spoke with the Finance Minister, and in the future we should expect the state to do much more-gradually, of course-to provide police officers with adequate living conditions because they are risking their lives and fight crime face to face.

The new center replaced the so-called Room 12 of the patrol police. At the initial stage, the unified service center will provide citizens with police services under one roof, instead of four different locations.

The unified service center of the patrol police is one of the most modern police service centers in the region, where services will be provided under one roof, be it the annulment of driver's license suspension or replacement with a fine, issuance of lost registration plates, issuance of consent to reclaim towed vehicles, and others, amounting in all to 50 types of services.
