Prospects of future scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries were some of the key issues discussed during today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and representatives of the academic communities of various Polish universities.
The parties to the meeting emphasized the importance of experience-sharing and the further development of the ongoing cooperation between Georgian and Polish academic communities and universities. As it was pointed out, given the high level of political and growing economic relations between the two countries, it is crucially important to deepen cultural and educational relations, and the engagement of youth plays a huge role in this process. During the meeting, the great contribution of the Warsaw University in the promotion of the Georgian language, history, and culture was underscored.
The Polish scholars presented to the Head of Government a Polish translation of The Knight in the Panther's Skin printed exclusively for him.
