17,517 Additional Households in Georgia to Receive Natural Gas Supply Print Version

17,517 more households in Georgia will be supplied with natural gas, as the Government of Georgia will carry out planning and construction work necessary for providing gas supply in 80 villages and one town of 19 municipalities. These large-scale activities, which will be financed with 39.5 million GEL from the state budget, will be carried out in many villages of the Dedoplistzkaro, Kobuleti, Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri, Terjola, Tzkaltubo, Lagodekhi, Dusheti, Mtskheta, Senaki, Bolnisi, Gori, Kaspi, Kareli, Khashuri, Gardabani, Zugdidi, and Khobi Municipalities, and in the neighborhoods of the city of Martvili that have yet to enjoy natural gas supply.
As Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated during today's Government meeting, in 2013-2017, 80,000 additional households received natural gas supply as a result of the work performed by the Government. The new activities, on the other hand, will provide 17,517 more households with gas supply, which is very important in terms of improving the living conditions of the country's population.
