Today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a face-to-face meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia.

The parties emphasized the centuries-old good neighborly relations between the two countries and pointed out that meetings held under high-level visits would cement the two countries' economic, trade, humanitarian, and cultural relations.

"Positive dynamics are found in the two countries' relations, including trade and economic ties. I had an opportunity to discuss with the President a set of very interesting issues, which I hope will further cement the cooperation between our countries," the Prime Minister of Georgia said.

During the meeting, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan singled out the positive dynamics in economic and tourism cooperation. The parties discussed the state of affairs in the region, and emphasized the decisive importance of stability in ensuring the countries' prosperity.
