Prime Minister’s Official Visit to Armenia Starts Print Version

The Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili is visiting Armenia on a one-day official visit.

An official welcoming ceremony was held at the airport to honor the Head of Government, where Giorgi Kvirikashvili was greeted by his Armenian counterpart Karen Karapetyan. The Georgian delegation's arrival was honored by guard of honor, with the national anthems of Georgia and Armenia performed.

Under the official visit, the Prime Minister will hold a face-to-face meeting with Head of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, followed by larger-format negotiations between members of the Governments of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia.

During the official visit, Giorgi Kvirikashvili will hold a face-to-face meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The Georgian delegation under the leadership of the Prime Minister consists of First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikheil Janelidze, Defense Minister Levan Izoria, Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Prime Minister's Foreign Adviser Tedo Japaridze, Head of the National Tourism Administration Giorgi Chogovadze, and Head of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia Giorgi Volski.
